About the School
Building the scientific foundation of medicine
The School of Life Sciences was formerly the Department of Biological Sciences established in December 2005. It was renamed the School of Biological Sciences in December 2010 and then the School of Life Sciences in April 2015. The school has an academic master's program in Biology as a first-level discipline, and participates in the joint establishment of a professional master's program in Biology and Medicine. There are four full-time undergraduate programs: Biotechnology, Biotechnology Engineering, Biopharmaceuticals, and Bioinformatics. Currently, all of these are first-class undergraduate construction points supported by Shandong Province.
